Got Questions?

Frequently Asked
Questions

Can anyone come to Frolic Weekend?

+

Yes — although Frolic Weekend was created for queer and trans men of color, we welcome anyone to join as long as they respect the space, culture, and joy being cultivated and experienced here.

What do Frolic Weekend passes include?

+

Your pass includes access to all main events — the pool party, dance parties, live performances, community programming, social mixers, and wellness events. There will also be optional add-ons available if you want to go deeper on certain experiences.

What kind of parties and music should I expect?

+

We cater to everyone's diverse tastes — events range from intimate mixers, talk panels, and discussion groups all the way to pool parties and late-night dance parties. Music spans house, circuit, afrobeats, reggaeton, dancehall, hip hop, pop, and R&B. Something for every mood, every night.

Are there host hotels with discounts for attendees?

+

Yes — we partner with 12 hotels in Provincetown to offer attendees exclusive discounts ranging from 10–25% off. Check out the Host Hotels section on the main page for the full list, discount codes, and booking links.

Is Provincetown easy to get around?

+

Very. Once you're in Ptown, you don't need a car. The majority of bars, clubs, restaurants, and event venues are on or near Commercial Street, all within walking distance of each other. Leave the car at home — or at least at the hotel.

What's the easiest way to get to Provincetown?

+

Most people fly into Boston and then take a ferry or drive. The ferry from Boston is 90 minutes and drops you right at MacMillan Pier in the heart of Ptown — highly recommended. Check the Travel section below for all your options.

When do passes go on sale and how long are they available?

+

Passes typically go on sale on the Saturday of Frolic Weekend itself — so current attendees get first access to discounted tickets for the following year. For 2026, passes have been on sale since June 2025. Prices start at $350 for a 3-day pass and $500 for the full 6-day experience. Prices increase in May and June, so buying early gets you the best rate. Payment plans are also available.

What are the Four Houses and do I have to join one?

+

The Four Houses — Kin, Allure, Escapade, and Zeal — are a fun way to connect with your people at Frolic Weekend. Take the quiz to find out which House you belong to. It adds a layer of community and friendly competition to the weekend, and some events are themed around House Colors.

I have more questions — who do I contact?

+

Email us at hi@wearefrolic.com and we'll get back to you. You can also DM us on Instagram @frolicweekend.

How We Move Together

Community
Priorities

1

This Space Centers Queer & Trans Men of Color

Frolic Weekend was built for us. Although allies are welcome, we ask that everyone who attends respects this space of joy, liberation, and community — and the people it was made for.

2

Consent Is Key. Harassment Is Not Tolerated.

Everyone deserves to feel safe and comfortable. Consent is non-negotiable. Harassment, discrimination, or any behavior that makes others feel unsafe will not be tolerated — period.

3

If You See Something, Speak Up

This is accountability in action. Help us keep this experience safe for everyone. If something doesn't feel right, say something — to us, to staff, or to someone nearby.

4

Come to Build Community

Attend with the intention of making genuine connections. Frolic Weekend is more than a party — it's a week of belonging. Show up with that energy.

5

Come Ready to Be a Vibe

To vibe with each other, and to have a great time. That's the whole thing. We'll handle the rest.
